ISLAMABAD – Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Saturday took notice of charging unnecessary fee for issuance and cancellation of Pakistan Origin Card by NADRA.
The Chief Justice took action following an application filed by an overseas Pakistani about charging of excessive fee.
It was prayed in the application that NADRA has been charging excessive fee of Rs 22,000 for preparation and Rs 31,000 for cancellation of Pakistan Origin Card.
Taking notice, the Chief Justice has sought report on the matter from chairman of NADRA, in this regard.
