Rangers challenge Amir Khan s bail in SHC

KARACHI (Staff Report) – SIndh Rangers on Friday challenged the bail of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) senior leader Amir Khan in the Sindh High Court.

Rangers Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Riaz plead the court to declare the verdict of subordinate court as null and void while alleging that bail was granted under a biased decision.

After initial hearing the two-judge bench, headed by Justice Ahmed Ali Shaikh adjourned the hearing of the petition for indefinite period.

Earlier a trial court released MQM leader on bail after he assured the judge that he will return to Pakistan after performing Hajj.

Sindh Rangers had arrested Amir Khan in a raid on MQM headquarters, the Nine Zero, on March 11 this year.
