At least eight of a family killed as jeep plunges into ravine in Kohistan

KOHISTAN - At least eight members of the same family have been killed when a jeep fell into a ravine in Kohistan.

According to media reports, the incident occurred near Kameela in Kohistan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Thursday night.

The family members were travelling from Seo to Kamila when their vehicle plunged into deep Indus River, while taking a sharp turn.

Rescue teams reached the area and shifted the dead bodies to district hospital Dasu.

Pakistani currency remains unchanged against US Dollar and other currencies on April 25, 2024 Monday in open market.

USD to PKR rate today

US dollar was being quoted at 277.5 for buying and 280.5 for selling.

Euro comes down to 294 for buying and 297 for selling while British Pound hovers at 342.5 for buying, and 346 for selling.

UAE Dirham AED was at 75 and Saudi Riyal's new rate was at 73.30.
