Imran should fight his case in court, not on media: Pervaiz Rashid

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid has told Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan not to fight his case in media but in the court.

“Don’t do media trial, fight your case in the court”, he said. Rashid said that the people were seen rejoicing after 2013 elections because they were fair while voters protested after Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) Local Body (LB) polls.

People were seen dancing after 2013 election and protesting after KPLB election, says Information Minister.

Pervaiz Rashid said that the 2013 elections were free and fair while the KPLB election was a perfect display of rigging, anarchy and brutal use of power. “Those who used to allege us of ’35 punctures’ busted the entire tube in KPLB polls”, he taunted. He Responded to Imran Khan in a press conference in Islamabad.

Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz leader said that Imran Khan is still conspiring to mislead the people and fighting his case on media instead of fighting it in the court. He said that it is easy to hurl an allegation but proving it is a different thing.

“Let alone questioning the former caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Najam Sethi about the alleged 35 punctures, Imran Khan didn’t even mention it in the judicial commission. Reason is that it is difficult to lie before the court while Imran Khan doesn’t have the guts to speak the truth”, said Pervaiz Rashid.
