GWADAR – The first mega pilot trade cargo will depart from Gwadar Port on Sunday. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will address a ceremony to see off the first trade cargo.
The first mega trade cargo convoy reached Gwadar from China and now depart for its next destination. Pakistan army and other security agencies provided foolproof security to the trade convoy.
It is the vision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that connectivity will be strengthened with the entire region. Gwadar Port is a gift of God and it was made more valuable with the cooperation and friendship of China.
China-Pakistan Economic Corridor initiated at a cost of forty-six billion dollars is a symbol of stable and bright Pakistan. Historically it is a new milestone and by implementing it we are entering a new era of relations at international level.
CPEC is a comprehensive project of peace and economic development which will benefit all the provinces of Pakistan and the entire region. Besides, Pakistan and China, Iran, Afghanistan, Central Asian countries will also benefit.
Gwadar Port is not just for Pakistan and China but it is full of opportunities for the whole world and scope of import and export will immediately be extended to central and east Asia.
Development of Balochistan is a top most priority of the present Government. Keeping in view the importance of Gwadar, a project of development of Gwadar city is implementing at a cost of twenty-five billion rupees. – APP
