RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif’s mother passed away on Saturday in Rawalpindi due to a heart attack, local media reported.
As per details, COAS’s mother was under treatment at Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) Rawalpindi and died early this morning.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the funeral prayers of deceased would be offered at Chaklala Garrison after Zuhr whereas her burial would be taken place at Cavalry Ground in Lahore after Asar prayer.
Prominent leaders including President Mamnoon Hussain expressed their condolences with the bereaved family.
