LAHORE – Pakistan comfortably achieved the 165-run target set by South Africa in the third and final Twenty20 international at Gaddafi Stadium to seal series win on Sunday.
The series decider match started at 6:00pm (1800 hours) Pakistan Standard Time.
Batting first, Proteas set the score at a loss of eight wickets. The top scorers from guests side were David Miller (85 not out) and Janneman Malan (27).
From the hosts side, debutant Zahid Mahmood emerged as the top wicket-taker with a haul of three. Mohammad Nawaz and Hasan Ali took two each and Usman Qadir took one.
Hassan Ali hit a six in the 19th over to hand Green Shirts a decisive victory over Proteas.

Proteas managed to achieve an easy target of 145 runs in 16.2 overs. Reeza Hendricks and Pite van Biljon scored 42 runs each to help the team bag victory. David Miller scored 25 runs for not out.
Pakistan bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi took two wickets while Mohammad Nawaz and Usman Qadir got one wicket each.
