ISLAMABAD – Former prime minister, Nawaz Sharif expressed on Monday that the National Accountability Bureau stands exposed before the nation, calling for paying attention to the voice of the public.
Co-chairing a meeting of the senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz members alongside party president Shehbaz Sharif at the parliament, Nawaz said that the biggest challenge presently facing the country was of the economy.
He fired a broadside at the sitting regime and expressed that the government had impaired the economy in just 100 days.
The former lawmaker vowed that his party will continue to struggle for the survival of democracy.

Senior Sharif said that his party had always spoken about strengthening democracy, as only a strong democracy could guarantee Pakistan’s development and prosperity.
During the gathering, it was discussed that a mass-contact campaign will be started by PML-N leaders from December 30 in which Nawaz and other senior party leaders will address rallies and public gatherings.
Meanwhile, former interior minister Ahsan Iqbal briefed the participants on the drive regarding restructuring the party and presented his recommendations.
“The process of party’s organisation across the country is speedily moving forward,” Iqbal was quoted as saying.
Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Rana Sanaullah, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Pervez Rashid, Amir Muqam and Ahsan Iqbal amongst others attended the meeting.
