Stranded Pakistanis in Istanbul arrive in Karachi, Islamabad

KARACHI (Web Desk) – At least 218 stranded Pakistanis in Istanbul have safely reached Karachi on Sunday.

More than 200 Pakistani nationals were stuck at the Istanbul airport after Turkey witnessed a failed coup attempt by a faction of the military which resulted in chaos across the country. Two flights took the pssengers from Istanbul to Karachi and Islamabad.

Earlier, Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif directed authorities to take measures to ensure the safe return of Pakistani nationals stranded in Istanbul.
