After PPP, PTI too chants Go Nisar Go

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has apparently thrown its weight behind PPP by demanding the resignation of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, here on Sunday.

In the aftermath of Nisar’s outburst at the judicial commission report over Quetta hospital carnage, PTI’s Shah Mehmood Qureshi accused Nisar of attacking Supreme Court while talking to newsmen.

“We are unclear on what basis the minister has criticized that report,” he asked.

Qureshi mentioned that PTI’s youth convention on October 27 was baton-charged despite the fact that the party had been granted permission for it.

He lashed out at the interior minister, demanding to know who had approved the gathering of banned organizations in the capital.

“Who gave permission to banned outfit members to sit in the meeting? What will be the strategy regarding terror cases after the conclusion of 21st amendment and military courts?” he asked.

The lawmaker stated that if the premier Nawaz Sharif was standing by his original statement given in National Assembly regarding London flats, then he should take back the Qatari prince letter presented before the apex court.

He urged PM Nawaz to show up in lower house of parliament in order to answer pending questions in the wake of Panama Leaks and London flats.

It is relevant to mention that PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has demanded resignation of the Interior Minister multiple times. He also threatened to take to the streets if his demands are not met.
