ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will hear a reference against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and PTI leader Jahangir Tareen on 2nd of November.
PML-N MNA Muhammad Talal Chaudhry and six other MNAs had filed a reference against Khan and Tareen under clause (2) of the Artciel 63 of the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973
The notices inform the PTI chairman and Tareen that they are both “required to appear before the Hon’ble Election Commission of Pakistan in person or through counsel,” in case the PTI chairman and Tareen fail to appear the notice intimates that the matter will be decided in their absence.
