Preparations for the 2025 Champions Trophy in Pakistan are ramping up as an International Cricket Council (ICC) delegation visits the National Stadium in Karachi.
The five-member ICC team, which arrived for a four-day inspection tour, began their visit at the National Stadium. The delegation includes Security Manager David Musker, Event Manager Sarah Edgar, GM Cricket Wasim Khan, Event Manager Aoun Zaidi, and Broadcast Consultant Mansoor Manj.
During their visit, the team reviewed ongoing construction work at the National Stadium, capturing photographs and videos of the progress. Director International Osman Wahla and Senior General Manager of the National Stadium, Arshad Khan, provided the delegation with a detailed briefing on the construction efforts.
In addition to Karachi, the ICC delegation will also tour the Rawalpindi Stadium and the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore before departing for Dubai on September 21.
It is noteworthy that a three-member ICC delegation had previously visited Pakistan in April to assess the arrangements for the Champions Trophy. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Pakistan in February next year.
