An officer of the political administration while talking to the news organisation said that the action has been taken as a preventive measure, adding that the security risks were prevailing in the area for some time now.

Talking to Dawn, law enforcement officials revealed that they had been directed to shoot if they saw anything suspicious.

After the curfew, all educational institutions, offices and markets have been closed in order to overcome any uncertain situation.
