Pakistan’s A-list model turned actor, Rabia Butt started her showbiz journey in 2009 and earned fame and love in a short span of time. Owing to her diligence and hard work, the Aangan actress recently sat down during an interview to discuss the issues of newbies in the modeling industry, and her struggle in early days. Butt also shed light on certain limits and restrictions she set for herself following her mother’s demise and revealed her journey on coping with the circumstances.
During the interview with Something Haute, the Yeh Dil Mera actress revealed how she took a bold step in her early career days.
Butt stated, “After my mother’s death I took a lot of risks in my life and people used to tell me that life will become very difficult, you won’t be able to work anymore. After her demise, I was offered a modeling project that came with a low income so I rejected it.
Butt also said, “Guddu Shani told me that you are not alone, you have to look after your home and sisters as well. It would be a huge risk if you won’t agree.”
The Hijrat actress added, “Shani also said that they’ll kick you out, and hire any other model which can lead to the end of your career.”
The model turned actress further added, “I put my belief in Allah and set an amount for my work 8 years ago and from then on, I became one of the highest paid models in Pakistan. Not only me but it helped other models as well to grow.”
Rabia further said that “In the last eight-nine years after my mother’s death, I tried to refrain myself from the things which Allah has strictly forbidden.”
On the work front, Butt debuted in the feature film titled Hijrat opposite Asad Zaman. Her television debut was with Aangan followed by Yeh Dil Mera, Soteli Maamta, and Pehli Si Mohabbat.
