LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan cricket team is returning to the country today (Sunday), after an unforgettable defeat by Australia in World Cup 2015 quarter-finals.
Fearing chaos, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has formally asked the airport authorities to provide security to the players, as a huge crowd is expected to welcome the cricketers.
According to the schedule issued on Sunday, Shahid Afridi, Sohail Khan and Sarfraz Ahmad will land at Karachi airport at 9pm.
Other players including the captain, Misbah-ul-Haq, will reach at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport.
On the other hand, the authorities have banned the players to issue media statements. However, Captain Misbah-ul-Haq will hold a press conference in Gaddafi stadium Lahore on March 24.
