MAKKAH (Web Desk) – Fumes from a car’s faulty air conditioner caused the death of a Yemeni family of eight members in Saudi Arabia, according to the Arabic daily Emarat Alyoum.
Security forces and ambulances rushed to rescue them from their car parked in front of a commercial mall in the governorate in Makkah province.
Sources told Sabq that the dead pilgrims were found on Sunday afternoon and that they were traveling from Sharoura governorate in the south of Yemen.
Saudi security authorities have opened an investigation into the incident in Ranyah province.
According to local media, the family was found dead in their vehicle. They were on their way to perform Haj in Makkah.
