ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The Foton Group of China Friday expressed keen interest to invest in manufacturing a range of automobiles in Pakistan.
A delegation from Foton Group China called on the Finance Minister and appreciated the pro-investment policies of the government.
Among others the meeting was attended by Chairman Board of Investment and Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Revenue.
The Finance Minister welcomed the delegation and appreciated its plans for investment in Pakistan.
He stated that the government has earlier this year declared the new auto policy for the following five years and encouraged the Chinese society to induce utilization of the opportunities for investment offered under this policy, in consultation with the Chairman Board of Investment.
