RAWALPINDI – The ISPR has said in a statement that recent terrorist incidents are linked to sanctuaries across the border, adding that security of the Pak-Afghan border has been tightened.
The statement follows two attacks which jolted the country on Thursday claiming at least 27 lives. A suicide car blast ripped through Quetta, killing 13 persons, including 6 policemen, and injured 15. The twin blasts hit Parachinar’s bazaar leaving 25 dead and dozens injured.

Lamenting the attacks, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that enemies of the country shall fall against resilience of the Pakistani nation.

According to ISPR, the Army said that enemy was trying to mar festive mood of nation through cowardly acts of terrorism.
