KABUL – At least three people were left injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) attack outside the Pakistani Consulate General in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.
Foreign Office Spokesman, Dr Faisal detailed on Sunday that the explosion took place in the holding area of the facility, adding that Pakistani staff was safe.

Dr Faisal said the wounded include a policeman and two applicants.
We are in contact with Afghan authorities to ensure strengthened security for Consulate General’s premises and personnel, the spokesperson said.
