SRINAGAR (Web Desk) – At least one Indian soldier was killed while four others were wounded when a group of three Wednesday attacked a check-post near Srinagar in Indian occupied Kashmir.
According to Indian media, the attackers used hand grenades to storm the post and set an oil depot on fire.
The incident took place about 150km northwest of Srinagar city, close to Line of Control.
The reports carried no information about identity of attackers and level of response from Indian troops present at the location.
Update: Latest reports in Indian media suggest that all three attackers have been killed by the forces.
