Govt decides not to seek MQM chief’s extradition from Britain

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Federal government has decided not ask British authorities for the extradition of MQM founder as it was not possible because there was no treaty between the two governments.

According to sources, the British government would be provided evidence against MQM founder for provoking people to violence and backing of attacks on media houses.

Meanwhile, it was decided in the meeting held under the leadership of Minister of the Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan that all Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) be brought within the sphere of law within six months whereas it was also decided that National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) shall be handed over the task of doing geo mapping of Karachi and Quetta to tackle terrorism.

It was also decided in the meeting that Passport offices shall be formed in all districts till February 2017.
