SWAT – At least five children were injured after a blast occurred near an under-construction building in Barikot, Swat on Wednesday.
According to the local media, the children found a hand grenade while playing on a heap of sand which went off later leaving them injured in Shamozai village.
After the blast, rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to the hospital for medical treatment.
Law enforcers also cordoned off the area and started an investigation to trace the causes of the blast.
