Pakistan expresses condolence over loss of precious lives in Iran flash floods

ISLAMABAD – Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal has said the people and government of Pakistan extend heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the people of Iran over the loss of lives and property caused by heavy rains and flash floods, the Radio Pakistan reported.

In a Tweet, he said our hearts go out to the bereaved families.

At least 23 people were killed and dozens other injured and went missing due to flash floods caused by heavy rainfall in northern and southwestern parts of Iran.

Floods have also caused damages in Fars, Mazandaran, Kirmanshah and Golestan provinces.
