LAHORE (Web Desk) – Police on Tuesday recovered a seven-year-old girl who was subjected to torture and violence by her guardians, from Sabzazar area of Lahore on Tuesday.
According to details, Rameeza was recovered from the couple Amin and Samina upon request of the Child Protection Bureau. Police officials said the minor girl bore torture marks on her body.
The couple, who is now in police custody, had bought the girl and had been tormenting her.
Officials further said Rameeza was so terrified that she was unable to record her statement.
An investigation team has been formed to look into the case.
