“Your love and support will give me the strength I need,” said the star footballer.

The 25-year-old maverick was rushed out of the stadium Saturday evening after he landed on his shoulder following a challenge from Real captain Sergio Ramos, who kept hold of Salah’s arm before he touched the ground.

Initially, it was announced that the Egyptian player had suffered a shoulder dislocation, however, the Egyptian football association later tweeted that they had been informed Salah had sustained “a sprain in the shoulder ligaments”.
