Five killed as two groups clash in Karachi

KARACHI (Online) – At least five people were killed and two others injured in an armed clash between two groups within the limits of Sukhan police station in Bhains colony area of Karachi on Saturday.

Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre Director Dr Semi Jamali has confirmed the death toll, saying that five dead bodies and two wounded have been transferred to the facility.

Police sources said the clash was result of an old enmity between the two groups and leader of a faction, Dr Abbas Ali, and his security guard were among those killed in the fight.

Police said 10 people have been arrested in connection with the clash.
