Imran leveling baseless allegations against Sharif family: Pervaiz Rashid
ISLAMABAD (APP) - Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid here on Thursday said Imran Khan has been levelling 'false and baseless allegations' against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and members of his family and opposing projects launched for people's welfare.

Addressing a press conference, he said owners of aeroplanes were talking about the poor people and a person who goes to perform Umrah on a private jet raises fingers against others.

Rebutting allegations of Imran Khan, he said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and government ministers had declared their assets before the Election Commission and filed their tax returns.

The Sharif family was doing business even before the independence of Pakistan, he reminded. Referring to the latest press conference of PTI chief, he said Imran continued his allegations about Ramzan Sugar Mills, which is owned by Salman Shahbaz, son of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

He said the high court disposed off and rejected the applications based on lies, filed by a person before High Court in case pertaining to Ramzan Sugar Mills.

He said Imran defended the person who was sought for fraud and misappropriation, which showed absence of moral values on his part. Politics of Imran Khan is that he objects to building of roads, hospitals, schools, bridges and public transport, he added. Pervaiz Rashid said, "We all know the lack of respect Imran has for the courts and he keeps continuing his accusations which are not accepted by the courts."

Imran talked about bridge on the River Chenab in Chiniot and heobjected to building of bridges. The fact is Chiniot was the lone district without bridge on River Chenab in a radius of a hundred mile, he added. He said Imran Khan should have been happy about the projects undertaken for the welfare of the people, adding there were people who made hospitals with their own money and not by collecting charity.

People of Chiniot will not vote for Imran Khan as he talked against the bridge which is 50 kilometers away from Ramzan Sugar Mills, the minister mentioned.
