MULTAN - The team investigating social media sensation Qandeel Baloch's murder, on Friday, visited Mufti Qavi’s residence and handed over a 14-point questionnaire to the cleric in connection with the case.

The list of questions given to the cleric inquired about his last contact and telephonic conversation with the social media star.

Addressing a press conference shortly after receiving the questionnaire, Mufti Qavi said that he would cooperate with all agencies that contacted him in connection with Qandeel's murder.

The cleric said that he would send a handwritten response to the list of questions.

‘I will issue a copy of my response to media as well,’ said the cleric.

On July 16, Qandeel Baloch was strangled to death by her brother after she became embroiled in a public scandal after posting selfies with Mufti Adbul Qavi, a prominent cleric, in a Karachi hotel room during the holy Islamic month of Ramazan.
