KARACHI (Web Desk) – Karachi Central Jail authorities have once again moved to the local court for re-issuance of death warrant of convicted target killer Saulat Mirza.
The court is expected to issue fresh black warrant to Saulat Mirza on May 2.
Earlier on Wednesday, the joint investigation team recorded his statement and forwarded its report to the concerned authorities.
Mirza s execution was postponed after he leveled serious allegations against the leadership of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in a video message from death cell on March 18.
He alleged that he killed former KESC Director Shahid Hamid on the directives of Altaf Hussain.
The culprit was sentenced to death in a case pertaining to killing of managing director of then named Karachi Electric Supply Corporation Shahid Hamid, his driver and guard in 1997.
