ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan dashed to the Polyclinic Hospital located in Islamabad on an unannounced visit.
The premier inspected different wards of the facility during the Sunday visit and was briefed about the facilities being provided to the patients; he was flanked by Minister for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination Aamer Mehmood Kiani, Special Assistant Iftikhar Durran and other officials.
The premier had a brief exchange with the patients over the facilities provided by the administration. The prime minister lauded the performance of the hospital for efficient arrangements and provision of medical facilities to the people. He directed the administration to keep up providing quality medical care to the people.
While taking notice of the aged building of the hospital, the prime minister directed for its facelift and improvement of the infrastructure
The visit comes days after the premier turned up at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) on a surprise visit; he directed the PIMS administration to continue with the provision of quality medical care and facilities to the patients.
