CUPERTINO, Calif – US tech giant Apple has rolled out new iOS 11.3 update for iPhone and iPad.
The new update includes new and improved features including battery health, improved AR capabilities, health records, data privacy, Animoji, Business Chat and others.
Battery Health
The new feature allows users to check battery health of their iPhone and will recommend users if a battery needs to be serviced.
Battery Health can be found in Settings and then by pressing Battery on iPhone 6 and later.
Additionally, users can manage the power management feature. The power management feature manages the maximum performance of devices to prevent unexpected shutdowns. Apple quietly built this feature into iOS as of iOS 10.2.1. If you notice the power management feature is on, then you can turn it off if you want.
This feature can be found in Settings -> Battery and is available for iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
Business Chat
Business Chat in iMessage is another new feature in iOS 11.3. It will allow users option to contact the business using iMessages to ask a question about a product or service, or make a purchase using Apple Pay.
Business Chat does not share your contact information with the businesses. And users can stop chatting with the businesses at any time.
New Animoji
The new update includes new four Animoji including a dragon, a bear, a skull and a lion.
Animoji is animated emoji videos that are created using the facial recognition Face ID technology built into the iPhone X. The A11 Bionic chip and TrueDepth camera give users the ability to recording Animoji messages and even creating “Animoji karaoke videos.” using their voice and more than 50 different facial muscle movements.
Health Record
IOS 11.3 also includes a new feature inside the Health application called Health Record, which lets iPhone users download health records including lab results and data on allergies, medications, immunizations and more.

Other than this a new privacy icon has introduced by the company that gives detailed privacy information whenever Apple asks for access to personal information and new ARKit 1.5 which more accurately maps irregularly shaped surfaces. It has image and object recognition and lets you place virtual stuff onto vertical surfaces.
