ISLAMABAD – Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has so far dispatched textbooks and allied material to it is around two lakh students of Matric, FA and BA, programs who had got themselves registered for spring 2019 semester.
The total number of enrolled during the semester was over seven lakh, a press release on Monday said. One semester covers the study period of six months.
It was being ensured that the students could get their reading material at the earliest so that they submit their academic assignments within stipulated time-schedule.
“We are doing so as per the annual academic calendar, prepared on the directions of the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Zia-Ul-Qayyum, said a senior official of the Mailing Department.
Mailing of books to students of B.Ed and Postgraduate will be started later this month.
