Avengers: Endgame is returning to theaters with a new post-credits scene

Not over the Endgame? Then here’s some good news for you all.

Avengers: Endgame is finally getting an official post-credits scene, with a limited-time re release in theaters next week.

Marvel Studios co-president Kevin Feige told Screen Rant that a new version of Endgame will appear in theaters that has a couple of additional scenes not in the original.

Feige clarified that the re-release is “not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie. If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend.”

An official announcement about an extended Endgame is yet to be made. But a re release could be what the movie needs to overtake James Cameron’s Avatar to become the most successful film of all time. Avatar made $2.78 billion at the worldwide box office back in 2009, with Endgame having made $2.74 billion to date.

Avengers: Endgame re-releases on June 28, just a few days before Far from home.
