RAWALPINDI – Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has been appointed as the Director General Inter Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) in first reshuffle after new Army Chief took the command.
Chaudhry, who was earlier posted as DG Defense Science and Technology Organisation (DESTO), has replaced Major Gen Babar Iftikhar.
Lt Gen Muhammad Saeed, earlier posted as Corps Commander V Corps, Karachi, has been appointed as the Chief of General Staff, GHQ.
Lt Gen Shahid Imtiaz has been appointed as the commander of 10 Corps, Rawalpindi, while Lt Gen Muhammad Ali has been named as quartermaster general.
Lt Gen Saqib has been posted as Corps Commander Bahawalpur and Lt Gen Nauman Zakria has been made chief of logistics staff (CLS).
Lt Gen Babar has been posted as Commander V Corps, Karachi, and Lt Gen Shahbaz as head of Army Strategic Forces Command.
