KARACHI (Web Desk) – Ayyan Ali has moved the Sindh High Court (SHC) against the government for putting her name on Exit Control List (ECL).
The fashion model filed a petition on Tuesday, praying the SHC that her name be excluded from ECL. She took the plea in the petition “she was bailed out while her name was placed on ECL, which is in sheer violation of law”.

Interior ministry and airport in-charge have been made respondents in the petition.
On Monday, the Lahore High Court (LHC) had allowed Ayyan Ali to make amendment in her appeal plea which she had filed against her indictment by a trial court.

In an appeal plea, Ayyan argued that a false and baseless case had been registered against her and the case could not be proved against her during the investigation.
Ayyan Ali was detained at the Islamabad airport on March 14 as she waited in a VIP lounge before her Dubai flight. Pakistani law bars any passenger from carrying over $10,000 and investigators say they found $506,800 tucked into her luggage.
