ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister’s Adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz, says Pakistan wants restoration of comprehensive dialogue with India for resolving all the outstanding disputes.
Talking to newsmen in Islamabad on Sunday, he said all the issues including the longstanding Kashmir dispute will be discussed when the dialogue process resumes between the two countries.
The adviser hoped that the recent meeting between the foreign secretaries of Pakistan and India will pave the way for talks on the various issues.
He said there is a trust deficit between the two sides and when gradually it is restored, other things will also move forward.
He said Pakistan is facing the challenge of terrorism and all-out efforts are being made to eliminate this menace. He said the whole nation is united in the war against terrorism.
He also said that political and military leadership was on the same page on important national issues.
