Pakistan cricket team leaves for New Zealand; Umer Akmal banned for 1st T20

LAHORE (Staff Report) – Pakistan Cricket team left for New Zealand this morning to play three T-20s and ODI series.

The first T-20 will be played at Auckland on Friday while first One Day International on 25th of this month in Wellington.

PCB punished Umer Akmal for one-match ban for violating the dress code in a domestic match earlier this week.

Umar is part of the Twenty20 squad only and will fly back after the third match on January 22.

He was not selected for the three-match one-day series against New Zealand which follows the Twenty20s.

The first T-20 will be played at Auckland from January 15 while first One Day International on 25th of this month in Wellington.
