Filmfare Awards 2016: Here s full list of nominations

MUMBAI (Web Desk) – While awards season is in full swing worldwide, the nominations for B-Town’s Filmfare Awards have also been announced for year 2016.

According to the Times Group, which is main sponsor of the awards, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranverr Singh and Varun Dhawan will compete for Best Actor male category while Anushka Sharma, Deepika Padukone, Kajol, Kangana Ranaut and Sonam Kapoor for Best Actor female category.

Deepika Padukone got two nominations for Best Actor female category for films Bajirao Mastani and Piku.

The nominations for best film include Badlapur, Bajirao Mastani, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Piku, Talvar and Tanu Weds Manu Returns.

Arjit Sing got two nominations for Dilwale’s Gerua and Sooraj Dooba of Roy, while others who compete him for Best Playback Singer category include Ankit Tiwari Atif Aslam, Papon and Vishal Dadlani.
