PICTURES: When Aishwarya Rai met French President Francois Hollande

NEW DELHI (Staff Report) – It was definitely a proud moment for Bollywood actress and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai, when she was invited to attend a lunch with French President Francois Hollande in New Delhi, India.

According to pictures shared by the actress on social media network, Istagram, Aishwarya can be seen wearing red saari while Mr Hollande is wearing formal three piece suit.

The lunch was hosted by the French ambassador to India, Mr Francois Richier.

French actress Elsa Zylberstein was also invited to attend the luncheon in New Delhi.

India media reports suggested that Mr Hollande and Aishwarya spoke at films and other issues related to entertainment industry during the meeting.

French president Francois Hollande arrived in New Delhi to attend India’s Republic Day ceremony on January 26 as chief guest.
