Mdcat Exam To Be Held On Sunday Across 30 Cities And Two International Centers

The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) for 2024 is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 22, in 30 cities across Pakistan and two international centers. The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has stressed the importance of transparency and strict oversight during the examination process.

According to reports, the PMDC President confirmed that MDCAT will be conducted under strict monitoring, with Section 144 imposed at all exam centers. Any violations will result in immediate legal action.

Advanced surveillance technology will be deployed to maintain the integrity of the exam. Candidates have been warned to refrain from unethical behavior, including cheating, which will lead to severe penalties. Special investigative teams and a dedicated monitoring system have been implemented to ensure fairness.

The President further emphasized that any attempts at corruption or cheating will face swift action. A total of 167,744 students are registered for MDCAT 2024. Shahid Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University has set up 33 exam centers, the University of Health Sciences (UHS) has arranged 26 centers, Khyber Medical University (KMU) has established 13 centers, and Dow University has organized 6 centers.

In terms of participation, 58,380 students from Punjab, 38,678 from Sindh, 42,329 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 5,806 from Balochistan, 18,408 from Islamabad, 3,145 from Azad Kashmir, and 739 from Gilgit-Baltistan have registered for the exam. Additionally, 259 international students will also take part in the MDCAT exam.

MDCAT remains a critical gateway for aspiring medical and dental students, and the PMDC is committed to ensuring a smooth and transparent process for all candidates.
