Lahore bombing cases registered against unknown men

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Police have registered two separate First Information Reports (FIRs) against unidentified persons for plotting and carrying out twin suicide bombings that killed at least 15 Christians and wounded near 80 more at two churches here on Sunday, local media reported.

According to detail, On Sunday, two Taliban suicide bombers blew themselves up at churches in Lahore, sparking mob violence in which two other suspected militants died.

The cases, 389/150 and 390/15, were registered on the complaints of Father Francis Gulzar and Padre Irshad respectively, under the Section 7 of Anti Terrorism Act 1997, Explosive Act (1884), premeditated murder (Section 302), attempted murder (Section 324), and Section 327 of Pakistan Penal Code.
