Show this to your parents: Pakistani kid wins 2 million more for playing games

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistani gaming prodigy, Sumail Hassan, while defying the quintessential sermons regarding adverse effects of games has once again bagged $2 million more while participating in 2016 International DOTA 2 Championship.

Sumail’s team Evil Geniuses managed to win a whopping amount of 20 crore Pakistani rupees and finish third in the championship while Chinese team “Wings” won the championship taking home $9.1 million.

Sumail shot to fame after an exceptional performance at 2015 DOTA 2 Asian Championship and the 2015 DOTA 2 International Championship leading his team to triumph.

The 17-year-old player is the youngest professional players in the game and his penchant for games compelled him to move to Illinois after leaving Karachi.

Evil Geniuses qualified for the championship through open North American qualifiers and North American regional finals.

Evil Geniuses reached the semifinals where it had to face the North American team Digital Chaos. The game between the two boiled down to a last minute base-race which Digital Chaos won beating Evil Geniuses 2-1 crushing their dream of becoming the first ever team to win an international title twice.
