Indian Coast Guard captured a Pakistani boat having nine crew members from the Arabian Sea, off Gujarat, Indian media reported on Sunday.
As per the preliminary inquiry, crew members are reportedly fishermen. The Coast Guard has taken the boat with crew to Porbandar for further probe, The Hindu reported.

“The preliminary information indicates the crew to be Pakistani fishermen. However, the boat and the crew member are being escorted to Porbandar for further rummaging/ joint investigation,” stated a release issued by the Defence PRO Wing Commander Abhishek Matiman.
Pakistani diplomatic sources said that they have contacted Indian officials and asked for details over the matter.
Tensions between the two neighbours escalated following the Uri attack and over the use of brute force by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir.
Over 110 innocent Kashmiris have been martyred so far as occupying Indian forces used brutal force to crack down on protests in the valley that initiated after the killing of Kashmiri youth leader Burhan Muzaffar Wani.
