KARACHI- Humayun Jamshed, the brother of deceased famous religious scholar Junaid Jamshed arrived in Islamabad on Thursday morning to collect the dead body of Junaid.
In a brief conversation he expressed that he prayed for all the people on board as the news of crash made airwaves across the country. He urged the masses to pray for the deceased. He expressed that he was satisfied as Junaid was martyred in the way of Allah.
He said that Junaid was a kind-hearted person and he often helped the needy ones. Humayun said that Junaid was an elder brother and he used to switch roles like a father and brother to him.
Jamshed and his wife were martyred in the plane crash yesterday near Havelian Tehsil of Abbottabad. PIA plane PK-661 was travelling from Chitral to Islamabad.
According to Deputy Medical Superintendent, body of Junaid Jamshed has not been identified as yet.
