LAHORE – Two students were killed while another was injured in a hit and run incident on Raiwind road, police said on Wednesday.
According to a police official, three university students were riding a motorcycle when a speedy trawler hit with their motorcycle on Raiwind road.
As a result, two students, identified as Shah Nawaz and Sarwar Ali died on the spot while the third sustained serious injuries. The trawler driver fled the scene.
The deceased and injured were rushed to the nearby local hospital for medico-legal formalities and first aid.
One of the deceased students was from Gujranwala and the other from Sheikhupura.
Police have registered a case and started an investigation.-Online
