BBC’s ‘A Suitable Boy’ is a TV series, based on the 1993 best selling novel, about four Indian families and with a no white actor cast, the audiences couldn’t help but think of handsome hunk Fawad Khan. While no official statements have been made till now, LiveMint.com has listed down the actors who’ll be perfect for the 8-part series and the hearthrob tops the list for us. Fawad Khan has already proved his mettle with Pakistani dramas Daastaan, Humsafar and Bollywood movies Khoobsurat and Kapoor & Sons. A Suitable Boy is set in post-partition India. The novel follows the story of four families over a period of 18 months, and centers on Mrs. Rupa Mehra’s efforts to arrange the marriage of her younger daughter, Lata, to a “suitable boy”. The screenwriter for the series will be Andrew Davies, and Fawad will surely be the perfect choice for one of Lata’s suitors!
