Four injured as Indian troops resort to unprovoked firing along LoC

RAWALPINDI – Indian troops resorted to unprovoked cease fire violation along Line of Control in Nikial and Kayani Sectors with heavy weapons and mortars.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan Army responded effectively on Indian posts to silent guns targeting civilians.

Meanwhile, Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria has said that four civilians were injured during the unprovoked firing by Indian troops.

Zakaria further stated in his tweet, “Deliberate targeting of civilians by India is deplorable. Int’l Community & UN should take note. India continues to endanger regional peace”.

India’s Recent Ceasefire Violations

On June 1, at least three civilians were injured after Indian forces started unprovoked firing along the line of control in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

On June 2, Indian forces injured two innocent civilians by committing ceasefire violation.
