KARACHI – Four police officials were martyred in a gun attack by unknown assailants in the metropolis’s SITE area on Friday evening, reported ARY News.
An assistant sub-inspector was among those martyred in the attack, said SP SITE Asif Ahmad.
He added the policemen had stopped at a local eatery for Iftar when two assailants on a motorcycle, with their faces covered with helmets, opened fire on them and fled.
Police have found at least 26 shell casings of 9mm from the spot.
IG Sindh A.D. Khawaja has taken notice of the incident and has ordered DIG West to submit a report.
