LAHORE – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has filed three review petitions against the Panama Papers verdict, under which he was disqualified on not being honest. On July, A petition has been submitted to the Supreme Court seeking an order to declared Panama Papers verdict, under which former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was disqualified, null and void. A senior lawyer, Allah Bakhsh Gondal, on Tuesday filed the application with Lahore Registry of the apex court, highlighting some shortfalls in the decisions. Nawaz Sharif was disqualified under Section 184/3, which deprives a petitioner from filing an appeal against the judgement, the applicant said, besides terming the section against the teachings of Islam.
