CEC Sardar Raza meets PM Sharif

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Newly appointed Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice (r) Sardar Muhammad Raza paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the PM House to brief him about the working of the commission.
The Prime Minister congratulated Sardar Muhammad Raza for his appointment as CEC and hoped that he would fulfil the responsibilities as mandated by the Constitution of Pakistan. The prime minister hoped that the CEC would ensure foolproof arrangements for the conduct of general elections in 2018. He assured government’s whole hearted support to the Election Commission in carrying out its duties.
